ORDYNA MONTH

On our way to 7 peaks!
Funny story: The weather is looking a bit stormy. As soon as the kids take a dip in the wave pool, we hear thunder and the rain comes pouring down. We have to run underneath the umbrellas and wait. The rule for 7 peaks water park is to wait 30 minutes after thunder before allowing people back in the pool. Each time the thunder starts the timer restarts. We ended up waiting about an hour, meanwhile we see the lifeguard in a meeting.

The thirty minutes is coming to an end and people are getting antsy to swim. We see some lifeguards leaving which leads up to assume that the water park might be closing. We tried to get information, but nothing is clear. We see more lifeguards leaving. Paul finds out that the lifeguards went on strike and about half of them walked out on their jobs!
7 peaks pulled all their resources and had workers from different departments helping out with the tube runs. It was a crazy day. At first I thought we were going to get rained outed as soon as we arrived, but we ended up having blast!

 SUNDAY ACTIVITIES
We went to church in Paris........Idaho. We visited my grandpa's brother's ward. After church our family learned about my mother's side of family. It was fun to hear the different stories of my ancestors.
On our way to Paris Idaho!

Tender Mercy. Nate wasn't able to make the trip.
I suppose an Angel wrote the message to remind me what an amazing husband I have, who loves me!

Rockin the shades

This barn has special memories for my mom. When she was a little girl she watched her grandfather milk a cow. While watching the cow pooped and it splattered on my mom's new dress! Needless to say, she never wanted to watch her grandfather milk the cows again.

The twins LOVE horses. They were so excited to be able to pet the horses

You think Fischer is excited?

Visiting the grave site

Isn't this the cutest thing you have ever seen?

This is a sum of our whole trip to Bear Lake
It was so fun to spend time with family all weekend. Making memories, keeping tradition and building relationships!

Interesting Story:
Once upon a time Lisa was saving this apple to eat after work. Lisa left it in her car so she wouldn't eat it while on her shift.
When Lisa picked up the apple it was hot and mushy on one side.
How it looked at purchase

How it looked after a 7 hour shift in a hot car.
I'm pretty sure it was cooked

This is the outcome
