First half of Quarantine Summer 2020

Get ready for lots of pictures with small words.
I'm sharing chronically what our social distancing summer has been like....
Waking up with wall stickers on our face. Not sure how he got that off the wall.?

Installing basement swings with help with moods and entertainment.

Putting on our older brothers winter boots.

Eating really healthy muffins with white frosting.

Building a cement retaining wall with our neighbor.

The wall has been a success. Nate and I learned a lot, if we were to ever do it again, but in the end glad we did it ourselves

On the cold days, watching dad work outside.

We choose one night of the week to have family movie night. One week we watch from our car seats. Ethan thought it was the best idea.

Feeling a bit insane/ Finding the laughter.
Asher being happy sucking on just the lid.  He was actually waiting for his milk to be finished in the microwave, but he thinks it's funny to pretend to drink from his lid.

I don't know how to explain this. I gave him a sucker and next thing i know I see this.

Found a great deal for a training wheel bike for Ethan. It needs some TLC, but hopefully we can help transition Ethan this summer.

My birthday present. A smoothie from Ivie juice. Drinking it all by myself, no kids.

Papa Hancocks 60th birthday celebration.

They had funny masks to wear for pictures. Ethan 50 yrs from now.

Ethan and Asher having the best time on the trampoline. Alexanders know how to throw a great party!

Finding new lines on our bodies. Thought we put sunscreen on him?? Yes he was out that long in the sun.

Helping dad to test the sprinkler system. Oh yes, Nate installed our backyard sprinkler system himself.

Learning our Aloe Vera plant produce 6 babies!!!!!
We gave the babies away to our neighbors.

Making stairs look comfy to drink milk.

Having a hard time making it to our bed at night, from all the dirt playing (you'll see in future pictures).

Spreading topsoil. We took baths every night for almost two weeks from all the dirt.

Making it up the canyon for a leisure rock throwing.

Realizing we can use our hands to make funny faces. Thanks to our aunt Amber to help us figure that one out. It's been hilarious watching Asher in this funny face phrase.
Asher: " Mom, watch this"....... (shows me this face). :)

Going out for Ice Cream, but eating it in the back of our van. It was a little too windy and cold to eat it outside/

Boston sad face, he couldn't have any Ice Cream.

Enjoying smelling the flowers.

Asher's first time with a stone water fountain. As you can see, it was entertaining to watch.

Re-opening christmas gifts I stored away from times like quarentine or rainy/sick days.

Going on bike rides with Cousins.

Learning how to keep a snail as a pet.

JoAnn's has "Grow kits" I picked 3 different flowers and let the boys pick which flower was theirs. They've had fun watching the plants grow.
20 week ultrasound with masks. So grateful i was able to take one person over 18 yrs of age.

Paint day. I had extra cardboard from past scout activities. We painted shields and signs.

I thought I was supervising more carefully. New trend, hand prints on the house instead of the concrete.

Guess the boys thoughts we needed more color on the outside of our house.

Old boxes as cars.

Still riding on my rocking horse my Gramps made for me and my siblings when we were young.

Picking up Asher's poop that fall from his diaper. No we are not potty training.

Laughing at the funny faces and positions our kids fall asleep in.

Boston trying to be human....again. Using a pillow. This dog cracks me up.

Found another snail. We named him Slimy. No other name was suitable. I threw out Fred, Slowy, but Slimy was the winner. Ethan took responsibility to remember him every morning and fed him. We had the snail two days and then I, mom, felt bad and set him free one night.

Asher being a great helper.

Sundays with dad. Dad asleep, Ethan watching LDS videos on his phone.

Getting larger each day. I love being pregnant. Being proud of the larger number on the scale. Getting bigger means baby is still alive and growing!

Decorations ideas by Nate.

Touching up our old and new purchased chairs (all used).

Enjoying the water table.

Taking Boston for evening bike rides.

Look at that smile.

Visiting our new cousin, Winnie Jane. Ethan was so soft and nice to her. So grateful to witness these moments with my children.

Spraying water at Boston to see how much he can catch. Ethan loves this.

Having lunch outside in our sun tent.

Re learning how to make doggy friends. Boston reached over and put his paw on top of Merlins. So precious.

Falling asleep in a pillow case. Goofy kid.

6 months along

hair chop. It was 6 months since my last appointment. Feeling proud I lasted so long without going crazy.

Finding new ways to use our pool.

Riding the line.

Found the right bike helmets. Ethan can be so stubborn with somethings. Helments were one of those. He wanted one that looked like a dinosaur. Thank you Walmart.

Asher figuring out which style of sunglasses he likes. Mine OR...

....HIS

Taking every opportunity to play in dirt.

Watching TV shows together.

New style trends happening in our house.
